There are many wonderful places to visit in the
country of Spain however one place that cannot be overlooked is the
Balearic Islands located on the sunny Mediterranean. There are
plenty of reasons to visit the charming islands aside from the fact
they generally display sunshine a good portion of the year. You may
find delicious fresh lobster in stews all over the Balearic
Islands. Also other good reasons include the vivid nightlife, the
breath-taking sea coast and many wonderful and secluded
coves.
That said there are several interesting and original town settings.
One town that is highly popular within the islands is the town of
Ibiza. The town is chock full of fun nightspots, unique and
fashionable shopping venues and cafe-style eating establishments.
Enormous walls made of stone seemingly act as a fortification. The
enclosure is also known as Dalt Vila. The city is recognized as a
World Heritage location and is medieval in aspect inclusive of its
“cool” Gothic-style cathedral.
